Luverne and Genevive Liffengren Photos

These are scans of the negatives rescued from the Liffengren farmhouse just before it was sold. Each envelope contained the negatives, usually from one roll of film. Envelopes were numbered arbitrarily as they were pulled out of a shoebox at random. Descriptions should be coming. For now, just enjoy looking at these photos amassed by the Liffengren family and now brought to light. About one envelope a day will be added to the list, so check back.

I'm guessing these photos were taken around 1950.

Some seem to be photos taken at Gen's home near Draper. Some appear to be of her classmates on a trip to Rapid City and the Black Hills. Several photos of a family picnic.
Env 98g	~ 1950	Draper, SD.	These were 120/620 large B/W negatives probably taken around 1950. This is the seventh and final set (121-144) from this envelope. Some seem to be photos at Gen's home near Draper. Some appear to be her classmates. Several photos of a gathering at a park and several photos of someone stacking hay.
Env 99	~1950	Draper, SD. Sturgis, SD.	These are 620/120 negatives - the larger b/w negatives. These seem to be a school band bus trip to Sturgis High School with a stop at Mt. Rushmore. Gen appeared to be in the band, but I don't know which instrument she played.

This seems to be the roll of negatives that should come just before Envelope 67. Anne H., Jody, Lindsay and Luverne Liffengren. Orcas Island Ferry between Orcas Island and Buchart Gardens. The last two photos were from slides which were in the same envelope and show the Prince of Wales hotel located in Waterton, Alberta, Canada.

Another set () is of a group of people on the lawn and includes Genevie & Luverne Liffengren. The last set (*) has farm pictures and one of Jodee.
