Visiting Norway is pretty easy. You fly into the capital, Oslo, which is a very nice town. Rent a car at the airport. The drive above shows visits to the the ancestral Liffengren, Tronrud, Anderson, and Kaasa towns. Total driving time for this trip is about 16 hours, and you see some great and variable scenery. If you only want to see the Liffengren and Tronrud sites the drive is just a few hours.

C. Vik - Home of the Anderson Family

D. Bagn - Home of the Liffengren Family - the farm is still there

Evan Fuoss, the grandchild of Sylvia Hullinger and Floyd Fouss made the Chicago Tribune on the day of the Liffengren reunion. Our congratulations Evan and his the family.

A good time was had by all at the Liffengren Family Reunion held on 7 and 8 August 2010 at the Ramkota Inn in Pierre, South Dakota. Thanks to all who to Gen and Barbara and all those who worked on making it a success.

The next reunion will be in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in late July or early August in 2012. Sylvia and Anne Hullinger will organize.
